Our Story
Ecogrip was born out of a passion for local craft breweries and a desire to create a closed loop system when it comes to plastic packaging.
This idea was crystalized during the pandemic of 2020 when global supply lines were disrupted and businesses needed to become creative in their approach to revenue streams and problem solving.
As a third-generation business owner of an engineering company that has specialised in consumer goods packaging for over 60 years, the disruption of 2020 pandemic provided that catalyst to create Ecogrip Industries. This is where our journey began to provide a sustainable solution to single use plastic packaging by using locally sourced recycled plastic and keeping all manufacturing processes on shore and environmentally accountable.

Recycled Plastic
Plastic, Reborn Locally
Australians use a whopping 130kg of plastic per person every year, and only 9% of that gets recycled. Meanwhile, 130,000 tons of plastic heads straight for our waterways, messing with marine life.
At Ecogrip, we’re tackling that by cutting out the waste and using 100% Aussie recycled plastic. Forget virgin materials, we’re closing the recycling loop and making sure we don’t rely on imported plastic. It's all about giving post-consumer plastic a second life.

Recycling Plants
Carbon-Black Free, Recycled Right
We’re stoked to introduce our black can carrier that’s near-infrared transparent. Why’s that important? It means recycling plants can actually sort it properly, keeping it out of landfill. Traditional black plastics mess with sensors in recycling facilities, but ours doesn’t. By ditching carbon black, we’re helping make the recycling process more efficient, while supporting a circular economy.
It’s all about smarter packaging, less waste, and a cleaner planet.
Sustainable Manufacturing
Greener Production, Brighter Future
At Ecogrip we aim to reduce our environmental impact, not only in the products we produce, but also in the way we produce them. We believe sustainability is central to our future as a business and it plays a part in every decision we make.
In order for us to live up to this commitment 50% of the power used at our facility is sourced from a renewable energy solar farm, helping to decrease our carbon footprint. We will continue to invest in new technologies and processes to build upon our sustainable manufacturing commitments.
